I also have the same problem. After a while of flying on creative i am getting kicked with "too many packets" message. The console is also spamming about it. I'm not using any mods, there's no network delay (localhost), and i tested it with vanilla server and it's working good.

Any chance of any of you trying this under a debugger, setting a breakpoint at that log message and seeing what kinds of packets are queued?

I can't try playing on localhost, I don't have enough RAM for that on either of my computers, so I'm playing over LAN, and it doesn't happen with my setup.

it only happens when I go somewhere for a very long in a straight line. my spawn points x= 179 and i am now at x=13280 and i am kicked 3 or 4 times
but i had it to with the old generator.

Please try using this executable: http://mc-server.xoft.cz/custom/mcserver...packets.7z
When the packet overload happens, it should dump all packets in the queue to the log just before kicking the player. So when it kicks you, send me the log file (in the "Logs" folder, highest number).

This only happens when the server is generating new chunks, and I need to fly a long distance. It's not kicking me when i'm flying over generated areas.
