Nope, sorry Sad

That looks cool, just like chrome. But my file browser on Linux already has tabsTongue

At the moment the benchmark uses a chunk which is stone layers 0-127 then air layers 128-255. Not a particularly good test but the best I could think of.

You're a developer on Windows and aren't using TotalCommander / Far Manager / ... ? Shame on you, reallyTongue

worktycho, can't you use any particular generator? I mean, create a cBiomeGen descendant instance, a cTerrainHeightGen descendant instance, ... and feed a cChunkDesc through them, just like cComposableGenerator does. It just might be possible.

I'm on a "dancing weekend". Four hours of intensive dancing lessons and I'm already dead, dunno how I'll survive tomorrowTongue

Because the generators are closely tied to cWorld. I don't want to spend another hour or two extracting a generator. BiomeGen.h includes ComposableGenerator.h which include World.h

Then use a 3D perlin noise, add linear gradient (along the Y axis) and generate stone blocks where the sum of the two is larger than a threshold, this should provide an "interesting enough" world for the lighting.

I'm just really used to ExplorerTongue Maybe I should learn using TotalCommander. Far Manager is really never gonna happen for me D:

Oh and apparently TC is not even free Sad

TCmd is really worth every cent of its price. And you can use it for a while for free, it's shareware.
