(because xofts code doesn't work with negative coordinates)

I'm quite shocked by the recent shellshock vulnerability. Serves you right, linux guys, you were sooooo self-important about the fact that there's virtually no viruses for linux, and then you get hit by the heartbleed and shellshock. Who knows what comes next?
