Neither of those solutions works for me.

@LO1ZB why do you want to? Windows just maps all the api calls to translate to unicode internally.

I'm trying to build Cuberite with Visual Studio 14 2015, but I'm getting just too much errors.
http://pastebin.com/FT0wANts Xoft said, this has something todo with VS trying to build the server in unicode 'mode' https://forum.cuberite.org/showthread.ph...5#pid21075 I already tried to use the '/Za' flag (Disable Language Extension) but I du not know, if thats a step in the right diretion http://pastebin.com/1ciFJThC

Do trivial programs (Hello world), created in a separate editor work? Because if so, I don't think its a unicode issue. Given how new the release is, I wouldn't be supprised if we are triggering a compiler bug. Can I suggest that you try deleting cpp files from the cmakelist until you get linker errors?

Does someone know if, for starting w10 download, I need 20gb free, or I need only for installing?
Whe windows.bt folder starts downloading but after 30kb... Stops

I believe it said only 3 GB, though the folder where the setup was downloaded appearantly was 6 GB I heard.

There shouldn't be any special space requirements besides those few GB of setup stuff.
And, what is the Windows.~WS folder?
It uses about 5gb, like if it was w10, and it does even have a setup.exe. First created files are 10 july, can I remove it safely? Do you thinl those are windows 10 files? This might be a version of Windows 10 To prevent all errors related to windows update, you might want to use the media creation tool: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo..._wol_win10 I also think I know whats the problem with Visual Studio 2015: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31750...ource-file Ok, its does not build, but I'm closer. http://pastebin.com/nan9y3aR |
