My git repo did somehow broken. Cloning it again from github .. 6-10 KiB/s and no my internet works fine.

Try using the depth parameter. If you don't clone the pdb around 1000 commits ago the repos a lot smaller.

Just cloned it now, 2 hours wasted. I did created now an backup of the current state, to avoid this again.

Okay, no idea anymore atm. Everytime I run cmake . it crashes at JsonCpp...

Edit: Pulling the lastest changes of JsonCpp fixed the crash, finally.

I've got problems updating JsonCpp using tortoisegit, too.
I always need to run git through the cmd.

What do I need to change in visual studio to compile cuberite in 64-bit? Only adding a solution platform in configuration manager, is not enough.

Make the solution by using this: 'cmake -G "Visual Studio 12 2013 Win64" .'

I've just noticed that the Where to get started section of GETTING-STARTED.md is almost completely out of date. All of the easy issues are closed. I'd update it, but I don't know what to replace it with.
