I had this weird idea today, that we could try compiling MCServer as an iphone app. I wonder if that would work. Imagine that - using your phone as the server
I'm learning iOS development with C++ at work now, so when I know more, I might give it a try.

that would be realy cool a portable minecraft server xD but eh... i don't have an iphone. i have android
maybe also try android??

FakeTruth seems to have done a few Android apps in C++, he might have the knowhow needed for this.

For fun? isn't that enough?
And nowadays the devices are quite capable of running the server, it may actually be a nice alternative to running the server on the same computer as the client for home users.

An initial version of ravines is in. Yay! It needs some polishing, but the basics are there - ravine shapes are built randomly, then smoothed and carved into the chunks.
