Maybe put it somewhere into the Tests folder inside the repo

Keep that in, just put your tests in a different folder.

When I use git checkout -b OnPlayerSwingArm inside trunk it just spams my console with the same message.

Trunk? Are you mixing git and SVN?
Thanks given by:
Oh sorry. I have a map called trunk and I download the source to there using tortoiseSVN. I think that is the problem. Cloning using git now Wink

Yeah, to create a branch in SVN is whatever the command is, I don't know itTongue

When pushing to GitHub after creating a new branch, it takes several minutes to push. Does that happen to you to, or am I the only one unfortunate? It's driving me mad, really.
Thanks given by:
It happened to me once, but it doesn't happen all the time. How fast is your internet?
Thanks given by:
10M/1M; that should not be an issue since normal pushes are almost instant; I don't expect a new-branch push to be that much larger. I've observed just one difference - when pushing an existing branch, the git gui displays the HTTP PUT size in bytes, if it is a new-branch push, it says "chunked" instead of the size. I'm using MsysGit 1.8.3. I'll try to observe network activity next time I push a new branch, just to be sure.

IDK, the maximum it should have to upload ever is about 15 megs, that's the size of the whole repo, and with your connection that shouldn't take so long.

according to http://www.speedtest.net/ (Dutch) we here have 47 mbps down and 76 mbps upload Wink
