Many people may be unaware of the amount of storage MCServer can consume on their SD card and they may not know how to delete MCServer properly to free that space up again.

you could add a warning in the discription and first time startup

Putting MCServer on the market is free for me.

i thought it cost $20 for administration if you want to upload an app. but only one time after that you can update your app free as many as you want.

anyway why won't you upload MC-Server to the play store? you hava a chance that more people will come to help develop MCS.

We still have some serious issues with the current code, people would bury him alive if he released the app now
There's still a crash in cByteBuffer reported, which is the most pressing issue now.

For what it's worth, I'm deeply grateful you folks have the Android build available, as I'm looking to turn off an ancient laptop that's been hosting my 2-year-old-world for friends and family.

I'm quite n00bish, as I have yet to get the MC-Server on my UG007 (Android-on-a-Stick mini-pc) to point to an external SD-Card for the 600MB world files, and have no clue how to compile my own build of this thing so I just use the off-the-shelf 1049 build.

Anyhow, thanks again, and I'm eager to see future releases of this. I understand why it's not ready for the Play store, but I'd love to raise awareness on this thing.

I've read somewhere that those Android-on-a-stick PCs can be actually turned into a normal linux box (mostly Ubuntu) and people have succeeded in running the vanilla java server on it. Maybe that could help you more for the time being. Unfortunately I don't have any pointers anymore, you'll need to google it all up again.

I myself have a MK-802 Android-onna-steek, but since its wifi has gone haywire, I am unable to test either Android or Linux. I've just written it off. Pity.
