You get more frames with mcserver then with vanilla. Maybe thats a feature.

That's purely based on viewdistance. If you ask MCServer to serve more chunks around the player, the framerate should get the same.

A good feature to list though, would be the ability to limit viewdistance server-side and with plugins. Which in turn would control the amount of RAM that each player takes on the server.
