Hello there people, so I was messing around with the server, posting it on some listings and stuff like that. I saw a user joined so I wanted to see what was going in it, I joined and realized that I couldn't interact at all. At first glance I thought it was lag because some of my plugins just decided to fail but they weren't the ones to blame, I disabled all of the resource-intensive plugins and I'm still facing the same behavior.

Enabled plugins:

GraveChest (version 0)

Essentials (version 3)

WorldEdit (version 14)

Core (version 16)

Login (version 3)

Permissions (version 5)

ChatLog (version 3)

SkyBlock (version 4)

Query (version 1)

InventorySpy (version 0)

Mobs and chunks DO behave as normal, I just can't neither interact with mobs nor trigger chunks generation by moving around. Server resources don't look hogged up and it doesn't really behave as if it was overloaded, TPS go around 19.96 up to a perfect count of 20 TPS.

The server doesn't crash so I can't provide any logs about the issue, that way, I'm providing a capture of such behavior so that you can give me a hand on it.

Hope you can help me get this solved, and thank you in advance!

Hello all,
I'd like to ask you all for help. I'm developing a program that would manipulate address books (from phones, mail clients, cloud storages etc). For this, I need to know the data elements they all use. I've settled on vCard as the de-facto standard contact exchange container, but still there's a plethora of elements and settings that it can use.

So what I need many people to do:
1. Export your contacts from your phone, mail client, whatever, into a big .vcf file
2. Filter out the personal information, leaving only the technical details
3. Send the file to me

As for point 1, my phone (and I suppose many other Android phones as well) has an option to backup all contacts to an SD card: Contacts -> ... (top right) ->Manage Contacts -> Back up. Thunderbird, in its Address Book view, has a Tools -> Export menu item (note that you need to set the file type to vCard in the Save dialog).

For filtering the personal information out, I've written a simple Lua script that can do the job for you: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/madmax...ymizer.lua
Call the script with the parameters: VcfAnonymizer.lua InputFile.vcf OutputFile.vcf ; if not given, input file defaults to Contacts.vcf, output file defaults to AnonymizedContacts.vcf
You can inspect the resulting file using a text editor, if you see any personal data left over, let me know and I'll try to fix the script.

I'm only interested in the "name" part of each vcard content line - that is, the part before the colon. Usually, it contains the name of the element, plus possibly some properties (encoding, type, sorting etc.). I'd like to find out what combinations there are in the wild.
Also some VCard exporters are buggy (the one on my phone is ) and output data in a malformed way. The anonymizing script will detect some of it and print a warning to the console (do not copypaste the entire warning here, it may contain personal data in the output). Just let me know that there were warnings.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Expending disproportionate effort on trivial matters is known as bikeshedding, or Parkinson’s Law of Triviality, and I feel the community, myself included at times, often does just that. The intention of this post is constructive criticism, no disrespect intended.

Cuberite has quite a few essential missing features at the moment, and I believe things like imporving stability, polishing the Lua API, imporving entities, mobs, documentation, 1.10 block support, etc should be the top priority.

But brain-power is often being spent on far less important discussions or features such as YAML support, turning Cuberite into a library, implementing complicated optimizations, Integrating Redis, building a plugin repo, overhauling the admin web API with javascript, adding Javascript, Python, or LuaJIT support, etc.

Fortunately little to no code has been written for most of these ideas yet (with the exception of the repo and the smart chunk solution). But I just wanted to remind the community that while new cool features are nice, in my opinion, we should prioritize becoming on par with Bukkit in all the essential aspects, and we shouldn't spread too thin.

Since I'm quite terrible with searching, I'd like to ask for your help.
I'm looking for a way to manage contacts, calendar and texts (and possibly more) on my Android phone through a computer. I'd like to be able to edit them, make a backup of them, and selectively copy them from one phone to another.
Now the problems:
1. I don't want a synchronization. I want an editor that works on the current data.
2. I don't want a cloud solution. I trust no-one and don't want my personal data somewhere on the web.
3. The solution has to be open-source. As I said, I'm paranoid and trust no-one.

Can you recommend anything? So far I haven't been able to find an app that would satisfy all of my requirements. The only solution that seems usable to me is MobilEdit, but it's proprietary (and I used to work for them, so I really really don't trust it

Alternatively, I'd like to write such an app, but I'm not so good with Android development, last time I tried something was with the 2.3 version, it's completely different nowadays. So if someone wants to help me make this happen, by providing the Android-side of things, let me know.
