I was wondering if there is somewere I can donate, to support the project?

You can donate bitcoins to https://tip4commit.com/github/mc-server/MCServer so that others can get money from commiting, and then there is this page: https://gratipay.com/mcs_team/
I am not sure if they have more donation pages, but thats all the pages I found.

The Gratipay's probably the best place to donate ATM, but you can do Tip4Commit if you want to use Bitcoin.
