I wonder why Mojang/Microsoft never ported the PC version to other platforms instead of making new versions from scratch. The fragmentation makes their efforts somewhat pointless as almost everyone will remain on the Java version anyways, not to mention that no one will care for the 3D rendering code rewrite since that kills possibility of incredible things like the GLSL shaders mod. I'm seriously wondering where Microsoft is coming from. Huh

I'm really curious about this, and the performance. I'm wondering if we can somehow add the protocol. Did the pocket edition have a limited world, or unlimited world like the normal minecraft? If not, then we have to figure out how we could fix that.

I believe MCPE had a limited world of 256*256*128. Not too sure though, last time I played it, it seemed super small.

"Infinite Worlds is the second World Type, added in 0.9.0. It has no Invisible Bedrock boundaries, so can be explored almost infinitely. "

New screenshots look good.
And it says it will be not only PE, also xbox compatible... It could be awesome, lets see if mcserver will support it.
