Cuberite meetup 2017

Hello everyone!

Since 2017 isn't that far away I thought about what to expect from the next meetup. This year @xoft said, he wanted to organize the meetup for the next year.

Any thoughts? Any ideas for the lineup or any particular talks?

2017 should be a feature year. Main devs should finish their current work and then focus on features that are missing, like proper redstone, features that got added in 1.9 or 1.10 and so on....

Depending in who comes, a talk about threading in general and in cuberite and the problems we get would be nice..... But Idk.

Plugin wise I think WorldGuard is an important plugin, because it is very powerful at blocking specific hooks in specific regions (for specific people). That would be very nice for server admins..... (i mean it's far more powerful than just the Protect plugin)

And btw @sphinxc0re thinking about talks, it's a bit late, I know, but why don't you go to the 33C3 and recruit some people for cuberite ;P (chaos communication congress)

The Czech republic is a little far for me to travel to, but perhaps I can do some plugin building over skype or something similar. Perhaps we can finish the LobbyAPI?

@"Cl1608Ho" you have some very good ideas there. We should also consider that the meetup is also for talks and asking questions. So if anyone wants to be a speaker, just tell

@NiLSPACE oh come on, it's not *that* far awayTongue It takes just a few hours by air (and Prague has its own international airport), or if you want to save, regiojet has overnight bus lines at about 75 eur, even less if you're under 26, going almost every day.

That's really far away for someone who is used to a 15 minute train ride at max to get to school :/
