I don't know if I'm doing this all wrong, but once I install the plugin, many of the commands just don't do anything, and many of them I wouldn't really want, or at least not to every player.

I'm sure it is me who's not understanding it. There are some some sort of permissions, but so far, I've never seen a howto about them.

To modify them simply use webadmin and go to Permissions and set whatever you want for whatever groups you want Smile

Not currently. There will most definitely NOT be a way to configure permissions using text files, since the permissions are stored in a SQLite database; there are plans for console commands to manipulate permissions.
