Changes:

• Updated how you can register commands in plugins https://forum.cuberite.org/showthread.php?tid=9
  
• /item command accepts item names now in addition to item IDs (Thanks Ben )
  
• Can kick a player with /kick !
  
• Signs work again
  
• Compatible with Windows XP !
  
• Added OnKilledBy and OnDamage hooks for plugins
  
• Minecraft account authentication, so player names can no longer be spoofed
  
• Added ServerID in settings.ini (used for authentication, should be unique)
  
• On hit dig blocks fixed (TNT, flowers, etc. )
  
• Spiders!! Thanks Alex
  
• Probably some more bugs fixed
  
  

No Mac version as I'm in a hurry, but I think it'll get there later.

wooo! omg thank goodness for that, well done guys glad you sorted the signs, that was annoying me! Also glad that people can't spoof each other anymore. Thanks for the repack, keep up the hard work !:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

i hate spiders, they freak me out in both reality and this game. However, with the case in hand im glads theres mobs!

btw will these things work now:
-redstone wire
-other redstone stuff for circuit's
-beds
-doors

Thanks for this release. This server is starting to get close to usable now. I'd love to be able to move away from the official server for our community

My friend is having a similar problem but getting 'Bad Login'

Could these issues simply be a minecraft.net slowness/downtime issue? I know I get lots of reports of 'problems' with my server reported that are actually just down to mc.net playing up.

it cant be, the checker url is working fine http://50.16.200.224/game/checkserver.js...=%SERVERID% i also tried setting authentication to 0 and it made no difference, also trying to make my own 'checker' didnt work http://s1.the-jteam.co.uk/minecraft/checker.php
